Health Screening benefit has a 90-day waiting period Coverage for cancer conditions begins after a 30-day waiting period and pays at 100 percent upon first diagnosis of internal cancer or malignant melanoma. Carcinoma in situ is covered after the waiting period at 25 percent upon initial diagnosis. Any loss due to a pre-existing condition will not be covered if the loss begins within 12 months after the policy’s effective date.
